The Full Itinerary
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive south through Maasai rangeland to Amboseli, arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive towards the swamps where the elephant herds gather. Dinner and overnight in camp.

An early start for the clearest view of Kilimanjaro. Morning drive across the open pans, rest through the heat, then an afternoon climb up Observation Hill for a wide view over the marshes. Overnight in camp.

A long but scenic transfer north west, skirting Nairobi and crossing the Rift Valley to reach the Mara by late afternoon. A short evening game drive on arrival. Dinner and overnight at your Mara camp.

A full day in the reserve with a picnic lunch. Explore the Mara Triangle and the river, following the resident lion prides and watching for leopard along the tree lines. Overnight in camp.

Another full day in the Mara, with an optional dawn balloon safari. In the afternoon, a visit to a Maasai community arranged directly with the village. Evening game drive and overnight in camp.

Drive to the Isebania border post where our team assists with formalities. Change to a Tanzanian vehicle and guide, then continue into the northern Serengeti with an afternoon game drive en route. Overnight in the Serengeti.

A full day in the north. Between July and October this is where the Mara River crossings happen on the Tanzanian side, with far fewer vehicles than the Kenyan bank. Outside those months the area is quiet and excellent for big cats. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Travel south to the Seronera valley, the heart of the park and one of the best places in Africa for leopard and cheetah. Game drives morning and afternoon with a rest through the middle of the day. Overnight in the central Serengeti.

Morning game drive as you travel out of the park, passing Olduvai Gorge with an optional museum stop. Climb onto the Ngorongoro highlands and check in on the crater rim. Overnight at Ngorongoro.

Descend into the crater at first light for a game drive on the floor, the best opportunity of the trip for black rhino. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then ascend and drive down through Karatu to Arusha for your onward flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
