The Full Itinerary
Depart Nairobi after breakfast, travelling through the Rift Valley and Narok to reach the Masai Mara by lunchtime. Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at your Mara camp.

A full day in the reserve with a picnic lunch. Explore the Mara Triangle and follow the river, watching for hippo, crocodile and the resident lion prides. In migration season this is prime crossing territory. Overnight in camp.

Drive to the Isebania border post where our team assists with immigration formalities. Change to a Tanzanian registered vehicle and guide, then continue into the northern Serengeti. Afternoon game drive en route. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

A full day in the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives across the Seronera valley, one of the best areas in Africa for leopard and cheetah, with a rest at camp through the middle of the day. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Morning game drive as you travel south east out of the park, passing Olduvai Gorge with an optional stop at the museum. Continue up onto the Ngorongoro highlands and check in at a lodge on the crater rim. Overnight at Ngorongoro.

Descend into the crater after an early breakfast for a full day game drive on the floor. This is the best chance on the whole route to see black rhino, alongside dense concentrations of lion, elephant, buffalo and flamingo. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Ascend in the late afternoon. Overnight at Ngorongoro.

A relaxed breakfast on the rim, then drive down through the coffee farms of Karatu to Arusha, arriving early afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
