Lake Mburo National Park At A Glance
Mburo earns its place by position as much as content. It sits on the main route from Kampala to the gorilla parks, which makes it the natural first or last night of a Uganda itinerary. Because there are no elephant and few lion, walking safaris, night drives, horseback riding and boat trips are all permitted, giving it more variety of activity than its size suggests.

With no elephant and few predators, guided walks and horseback safaris are permitted, which is unusual for a savanna park.
