The Full Itinerary
Leave Nairobi after breakfast and drive south through Maasai rangeland to Namanga on the Tanzanian border, then east into Amboseli. Arrive for lunch at your camp. An afternoon game drive takes you towards the swamps, where elephant herds gather in the cooler hours. Dinner and overnight in camp.

An early start for the best chance of a clear Kilimanjaro. Morning game drive across the open pans, then back for breakfast and a rest through the heat. In the afternoon head to Observation Hill for a wide view over the swamps, and finish with a sundowner drive. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Morning game drive concentrating on the western marshes, which hold hippo, buffalo and a good range of waterbirds. After lunch, an optional visit to a nearby Maasai community, arranged directly with the village so the fee goes to them. Evening game drive and overnight in camp.

A final morning game drive while the light is still low, then breakfast and checkout. Drive back to Nairobi, arriving early afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
