About This 10 Day Kenya Safari
This 10 day Kenya safari is our longest migration itinerary without leaving the country. It gives you three nights in the Masai Mara at the heart of the trip, which means two full days to follow the wildebeest herds, and wraps them in four other parks so the rest of the week is just as rewarding.
You start with two nights in the Samburu National Reserve for the Special Five, cross the equator to Lake Nakuru for rhino, then drive to the Mara. After the migration you spend a night at Lake Naivasha with a boat trip and finish with two nights in Amboseli among the elephant herds.
The route is designed for July to October, but it is equally strong the rest of the year when the Mara’s resident predators and Amboseli’s elephants are the main attraction.
